I live in a ghost town…

Hoquiam, WA, RIP… I’ve been perusing the photos at the website jonesphotocollection.com which are photographs from four generations of photographers that worked around Hoquiam and Aberdeen. The photos are depressing as they show that there really once was a bustling town here in Hoquiam, but of course almost all the old buildings were torn down in some strange ‘urban renewal’ movement. I’ll take some photos later from the same vantage points as some of the old photos for a little compare and contrast slideshow…
